º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe 2026 showcases leading microbial science across º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Health, º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Applied & Environmental Microbiology and º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Mechanism Discovery. The meeting provides a comprehensive forum for basic and applied researchers, clinical microbiologists, infectious disease practitioners and other professionals across the field.

Attendees may earn up to:

  • 34.75 CME credit hours (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™).
  • 34.5 CE credit hours (P.A.C.E.®, CA-CE and/or FL-CE).

  • $75 administrative fee required (includes access to on-demand recordings).

How CME Credit Works
  • Earn credit by attending eligible sessions in person.
  • Use on-demand recordings to claim credit for sessions missed due to concurrent scheduling. 
  • Add credit through an optional paid workshop (in-person only; not recorded).

CME Maximums
  • Without workshop: up to 27.75 hours (live + on-demand). 
  • With workshop: up to 34.75 hours (maximum).

  • CME is offered for select sessions in the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Health meeting and general sessions.
  • Not all sessions offer CME—check the “Credit Hours Available” designation in the . 
  • The same session cannot be claimed twice (live and on-demand).

P.A.C.E.®, CA-CE, and FL-CE do not require an additional fee.

How do I purchase the ability to claim CME (AMA PRA Category 1â„¢) credit hours?
To add CME to your º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe registration record, using your º£½ÇÖ±²¥ account credentials. On your dashboard, click on "Attendee Profile." On the profile page, click "Yes, I will be claiming CME Credits." Click "Next" to review and check out. Your credit card on file will be used for payment. Click, "Pay Now," to complete. If you need additional assistance, or do not have a credit card on file, please visit the Registration help desk at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center between Thursday, June 4 and Sunday, June 7 at 12 p.m. ET.

Will I have an opportunity to purchase the ability to claim CME credit hours after attending º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe?
No, you must purchase CME with your registration record or add it onsite while attending º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe in Washington, D.C. You will have until Sunday, June 7 at 12 p.m. ET (local time) to add the CME option to your registration. 

Can I claim CME/CE credit hours by viewing on-demand sessions?
CME credit claiming will be available for on-demand viewing of select recorded content after the meeting. This option is only available for CME and will be unavailable for P.A.C.E.®, CA-CE, and FL-CE.

Can I claim continuing education credit in the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe 2026 app?
No, credit hours cannot be claimed in the º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Microbe 2026 mobile app.

California Clinical Laboratory Personnel

º£½ÇÖ±²¥ is accredited by the California Department of Health to offer continuing education for California Clinical Laboratory Personnel. All sessions designated for P.A.C.E.® credits will also qualify for California CE credits toward license renewal. 

Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel

º£½ÇÖ±²¥ is accredited by the Florida Department of Health to offer continuing education for Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel. All sessions designated for P.A.C.E.® credits will also qualify for Florida CE credits toward license renewal.
