The º£½ÇÖ±²¥-Fudan Symposium on Precision Microbiology: From Mechanism to Medicine is accepting abstracts in the following focus areas: 

Molecular Mechanisms of Host–Microbe Interactions:

Exploring the biological processes that drive infection, immunity and disease.

• Mechanisms of pathogenesis.
• Host immune responses to infection.
• Microbial virulence and evolution.
• Host susceptibility and disease outcomes.
• Microbiome and host interactions in health and disease.

Next-Generation Diagnostics and Genomics:

Translating genomic discoveries into faster, more accurate diagnostic tools.

• Metagenomics and advanced sequencing technologies.
• Functional genomics in infectious diseases.
• Biomarker discovery and validation.
• Translating molecular insights into clinical diagnostics.

AI, Data Science and Systems Microbiology:

Harnessing AI and computation to transform microbiology research.

• Multi-omics integration and systems biology.
• AI-driven discovery and analysis.
• Computational microbiology and bioinformatics.
• Predictive modeling of infectious diseases.
• Genomic epidemiology and infectious disease surveillance.

Translational Therapeutics and Clinical Implementation:

Clinical implementation of precision medicine in infectious disease.

• Antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
• Mechanism-based drug discovery and targets.
• Phage therapy and alternative therapeutics.
• Translating research into clinical practice.

The organizing committee will inform you by email if you are selected to give a poster or a flash talk (10 mins). If selected, you must complete registration by?the Nov.?2 deadline to attend and present.? 

During the closing ceremony, awards will be presented to the authors of the best conference posters. We encourage anyone who is interested to apply.? 

• The abstract submitter must be the first/presenting author.? An abstract may only be submitted once. 
• The first/presenting author is responsible for obtaining approval from all co-authors before including their names.  ? 
• The presenter agrees to register for the symposium and be available to present in-person at the meeting venue. 
• Abstracts must be well written and easy to understand, with results clearly presented.? 
• Abstracts must be written in English.? 
• Submission deadlines are firm. Late abstracts will not be accepted.? 
• Rejected abstracts may not be edited or resubmitted.? 

Abstract Title? 

• Please use a short and concise title that indicates the content of the abstract.?? 

Author Information? 

• All author(s)'s name(s), institution(s), location(s), title(s) must be included.?? 

Abstract Body Text? 

• Your abstract may have up to 300 words, excluding spaces, title, author and affiliations. ?Do not include abstract title, author names or keywords within the abstract text.? 
• Abstract text may be submitted using the following methods: copy/paste, direct text entry or file upload.? 
• Your abstract may be written without the use of the following bolded headers: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.? 
• Follow the abstract guidelines to ensure all required information about your study is provided in your abstract.? 

Poster Size Requirements 

• Up to A0 size (841 mm wide × 1189 mm high).
• Accepted fonts: Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman. 
• Poster presenters are responsible for printing their own posters in English.  º£½ÇÖ±²¥ and Fudan University are unable to provide printing services for the symposium. 

Body Text and Author Information? 

• All submitted posters must be in English and include: title, authors, affiliations, introduction, methods, results, references?and conclusions.?
